CP-30 Hardware Version 2.0

Servelec Technologies is pleased to announce a performance increase for the CP-30 CPU. The new Version 2 hardware receives an increase in SDRAM from 32MB to 64MB, along with a increase in battery backed RAM from 128KB to 512KB. The SDRAM is used for the program operation and general data storage. The Battery Back RAM is used for retained variables and the System log file. The environmental specification has widened to -40 to +85 Degrees Celsius. The PCB mounted back up battery is now placed in a Holder rather than soldered to the board for improved maintenance. Finally, energy consumption on 5V rail has been reduced from 290mA to 200mA.
